Frome Film Club is showing its next film ‘Human Flow’ (Cert 12A) on Wednesday 10th October at the Merlin Theatre.
More than 65 million people around the world have been forced from their homes to escape famine, climate change and war, the greatest displacement since World War II. Artist and filmmaker Ai Weiwei, spanning 23 countries and filming over the course of a year, tracks and examines the staggering scale of the migrant crisis and its profoundly personal human impact.
An ambitious, deeply humane and visually striking work that contemplates the pressing subject of human migration.
Memberships are still available at £30 for the season. For details of how to join and the film selection go to www.fromefilm.co.uk. Non-member tickets are available for £6.50 each from the Merlin Theatre box office.
