SOMERSET Stallion, Ryan Wheeler, has been given the opportunity he has been waiting for, a shot at the Southern Area Title, taking on current champion Jamie Speight.
Ryan Wheeler, currently holding his undefeated professional record at 13-1-0 and holding the British Challenge Belt, he has his sights set on another title challenge, the Southern Area title.
On Saturday 20th October, Ryan will face current Southern Area Champion, Jamie Speight from Newton Abbot to add to his winning tally, hopefully finding his first knock-out. This won’t be the first time Ryan has taken on Jamie, last meeting on the 6th October 2017 where the Somerset Stallion clinched the win on points.
Ryan said, “I have had a good year so far with 2 solid wins, I want to pick up the Southern Area strap and get myself in a strong position for next year. Jamie is a very technical fighter, we have fought before, it will be a good fight but I know I have the beating of him especially with my Frome fans cheering me on.”
The event takes place at Dolman Hall at Ashton Gate Stadium in Bristol with doors opening at 5.30pm ready for the first bell at 6pm. Tickets are £35 for unreserved seating and £45 ringside. Under 16s £10 and must be accompanied by a paying adult. To purchase tickets call 07518 866 425 or visit www.myfighttickets.com. For more information visit www. westcountryboxing.com
