LOCAL radio enthusiast Chloe Raeburn has won a Roberts Radio, in the Frome FM listener survey.
Frome FM volunteer Patrick Abrahams said, “Chloe Raeburn was the lucky winner of the Roberts Radio, after being randomly selected from all the people who responded to our recent listener survey.
“Chloe, a fairly recent resident in Frome, first came across Frome FM last year following our coverage of the Kindness Festival and the interviews with Alison Murdoch. Chloe said in the survey ‘Why I love radio – Well, mainly for the music, but I studied media at Yeovil College and had great fun making radio jingles.’”
Patrick explained that he hoped Chloe may join Frome FM and help with their jingles.
Patrick added, “Chloe thanked Frome FM for the radio and said that the retro look of the Roberts Radio (although with FM, DAB, internet access etc) will fit in very well with her 1980’s themed flat.
“Chloe is an avid Cosplay fan, recently attended the Taunton Comicon as Emma Swan from Once Upon a Time and said that she was hopeful that we might see a Frome Comicon shortly.
“Frome FM are still analysing the listener survey results, but one surprise was that nearly 20% of listeners come from outside Frome and a further 5% from overseas.”
