Are you passionate about promoting your village? Do you harbour a secret ambition to be on the radio? Frome FM wants you to be a village correspondent for its new ‘All about Frome’ daytime show.
Show presenter Rupert Kirkham says, “You don’t need to be the next Kate Adie, but you do need to have your finger firmly on the pulse of your village.
“You’ll either know, or be able to sniff out, the individuals and groups that offer up their time on a regular basis to improve life in your community.
“You will also be happy to attend events and report back to the studio when required. If you bring the enthusiasm, we’ll provide the training”.
Frome FM is run by the community, for the community and has plenty of opportunities for those who want to get involved, either behind the mic or behind the mixing desk.
The radio station is committed to promoting local events, charities and organisations.
The station’s Di Pointon said, “Also keep an eye and an ear out for the new and improved programme schedule, which will be coming to a radio near you very soon!”
Frome FM broadcasts on 96.6FM to Frome and surrounding villages, it is also available online at www.frome.fm.
