Request Stop is a monthly nostalgic music show bought to you by husband and wife team, Andy and Kerry Brittain. Andy and Kerry met many years ago performing in the same big band where Andy is the drummer and Kerry was the singer.
Their love for the big band sound and vocalists of the day such as Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald et al, led them to present their show on Frome FM. Kerry says, “We love receiving requests and hearing all about the memories the music evokes; and if we don’t have a particular piece, Andy makes it his mission to track it down. We don’t just play jazz, we welcome any requests from the 40s through to the 70s”.
You can hear Request Stop monthly on a Sunday lunchtime at 12:00 and again at 07:00 on Thursday and 13:00 on the Friday of the following week.
