Frome Junior runners have finished second in the Wiltshire Junior League, with 13 runners taking part in at least one of the six races in the series.
The races covered distances of 1.5km to 2km, with Chippenham as the overall winners.
Individually, Tallis Mason and Lilly Antell finished third and fourth in the U15 age group for girls.
Rosie Antell and Willow Antell finished second and third in the U11 age group for girls.
Up next for the Frome Juniors are the County Cross Country Championships this month in Bath and the Regional Championships in January, where many of the Juniors look to improve their performances from last year.
The Juniors train on Tuesdays and Thursday from 5.15pm to 6.15pm. “New runners are welcome to come either day or both,” says an organiser of the club, Peter Clardy.
The Juniors train all year with breaks that follow the school calendar.
