The Lions are pleased to report that the sum of £277.50 was raised at the recent quiz night held at Frome Rugby Club.
The winning team comprised, Terry Carter, Judy Annan, Janet Wain and Jack Jones, who scored 99 points.
Runners up ‘The Pringles’ comprised Philip Ashworth, Bob Ashworth, June Ashworth and Jed Clatworthy with 94 points. The Pringles also won the picture round scoring 24 points out of a possible 30.
All funds raised go towards the numerous local good causes that the Lions support, and the funds were boosted this time following the generosity of the runners up donating their winnings.
