FROME Community Lottery has recently given out grants totalling about £4500 to local organisations.
The grants were given to Fair Frome, the Window Wanderland, the Merlin Theatre, the Memorial Theatre, the Children’s Festival, Frome Community Cars and Active and in Touch.
As this year is the 20th anniversary of the Frome Lottery, we had hoped to celebrate with a tea party in the Town Hall, where members who play the Lottery and organisations who have benefitted over the years could get together to mark the occasion. Unfortunately this event in March had to be cancelled so grants were given out by post and organisations invited to send photos of themselves receiving the cheque. We now plan to hold the celebration tea party on 8th September.
