The iconic singer Kate Nash is due to perform at the Cheese and Grain this month as part of a special intimate festival warm-up show on Thursday 24th July.
The Brit-award winning singer songwriter will perform in town with her energetic band ahead of her show at Rock Oyster Festival in Cornwall the following day.
It has been nearly 20 years since Kate Nash achieved ‘huge commercial’ success in 2007 with her debut album Made of Bricks featuring hits including Foundations, which reached number 1 in the UK and spent seven months in the top 40.
She then went onto release Girl Talk in 2013, Yesterday was Forever in 2018 and last year released her fifth album 9 Sad Symphonies in 2024; she has also starred in HBO’s top wrestling drama GLOW and has been a dedicated activist for women’s and trans rights.
