On Saturday 13th April members of Frome Musical Theatre Company enjoyed an evening of celebration, glitz and glamour at their annual Dinner Dance and Star Awards.
The event was held at the Cheese and Grain and was sponsored by a range of supportive local businesses including main sponsor Frome Memorial Theatre.
With the company in rehearsals for their forthcoming production of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang the theme was very much Chitty, with pretty Toot Sweets and the fabulous car made by a talented team of volunteers was on display.
Among the award winners were also recipients of long service NODA medals. Sarah Bolton received 25 years’ service medal while Kerry and Lyndy Bishop received Life Membership from the company for their many years of dedication and contribution to the company.
Harvey Joseph was the winner of the President’s Cup for Under 21 Singing Performance.
