Frome RFC has appointed new assistant coach for the upcoming 2025/26 season.
Henry Bull has been a committed and influential member of the senior squad for the past five seasons.
Known for his intelligent play and leadership on the pitch, Henry’s transition into the coaching team is a natural progression and one welcomed by players and supporters alike.
He said, “I’m hugely appreciative of the opportunity that Frome RFC has given me to work for the coaching staff. I’m really looking forward to the season and all the challenges it’s going to bring. We’ve got a cracking squad, with loads of new talent coming through the academy, bring on the season.”
Henry will work alongside head coach Garrie Webster, who continues to lead the club with passion and a clear vision for progress. Together, they will focus on driving performance, enhancing backline play and strengthening squad cohesion as Frome RFC looks to build on recent momentum in the Counties 1 Southern South.
Garrie said, “Henry has been a key part of the Frome set-up as a player, and he’s earned great respect across the club. His rugby brain, energy and understanding of our culture make him an ideal addition to the coaching team. I’m looking forward to what we can achieve together this season.”
Henry’s coaching philosophy centres around hard work, creativity and unity. “These are values that resonate strongly with the club’s identity and future goals,” said a spokesperson for the club.
