Frome RFC Mini & Junior section braved the elements for their Sunday fixtures and training recently, with all sides having a run out.
They report, “The Frome RFC U8s were also at home entertaining Oldfield Old Boys RFC at the weekend. Frome RFC U10s hosted both Oldfield Old Boys RFC and Devizes RFC on Sunday
“The Frome RFC U12s had a great game against Oldfield Old Boys RFC.”
Coach Chris Burgess said, “So proud of the boys today, i’d also like to say thank you to our parents who brought cakes and helped on the cake stall.”
“Frome RFC U13s welcomed Melksham RFC to Gyspy Lane on Sunday.
“The Frome RFC U15s welcomed Dings RFC U15s to Gyspy Lane and secured a fantastic home win with the final score of 31-5.”
Frome RFC U13s took part in a fundraising event on Saturday 2nd March, to help support their up and coming tour to Chepstow.
The club says, “They participated in running and swimming collectively doing as many miles as they could within two hours. Between them, they covered a total of 50 miles! Huge congratulations to them all.”
