Aspiring event rider Millie Toulson-Clarke from Frome has been appointed as a brand ambassador for the well-known equine feed company Spillers.
Millie is one of 11 ambitious riders who won their place from 650 entries to join the new Spillers Ambassador Programme.
With this substantial leg up from Spillers, Millie, together with her two competition horses, hopes to take great strides in fulfilling her equestrian dreams this year.
During the year Millie will be given coaching sessions from professional event riders William Fox-Pitt who is based in Dorset and Millie Dumas who is based in Somerset, as well as consultations from a Spillers nutritionist, £250 of Spillers feed vouchers and a collection of Spillers-branded riding kit.
They will be charting and sharing their progress across social media channels and will also have the exciting opportunity of becoming a guest blogger on the Spillers website.
Millie is aiming to be consistently placing at Novice level in eventing this season with her two horses as well as stepping up to 2* level.
Millie said, “I’m so excited and grateful to have been given this amazing opportunity by Spillers! Their feeds have worked wonders for my horses so I am so happy to be on the team and work with them.”
Millie was one of 20 candidates shortlisted by Spillers for a place on the programme. She won her place by producing a brief video explaining why she deserved the position and horse lovers on social media voted for their favourites.
All the ‘likes’ and ‘loves’ were counted as votes and taken into consideration when Spillers made the final decision on the winners.
