PRESEASON training for Frome RFC’s men’s team kicked off this month.
After the first week of preseason training, the club caught up with Frome RFC’s Head Sports Therapist, Alex Joiner for his thoughts on how the week went.
He said, “You can’t manage what you don’t measure, perhaps a cliché, but certainly true. It was a great turn out last week for the Frome RFC preseason physical assessments. A solid effort for the guys and they have provided the perfect platform to guide conditioning for the up and coming season”
Senior men’s preseason training continues every Tuesday and Thursday evenings, starting at 7pm, at The Lane.
The 2022/2023 season will see the Frome RFC 1st XV move to Regional 2 Severn, as they remain at level 6 having retained their spot in South West 1 last season.
The 2nd XV, having won Dorset & Wilts 1 North gained promotion to Counties 1 Southern South, and will compete at level 7 for the first time in the team’s history.
The 3rd XV move to Counties 4 Somerset North and will compete at level 10 following a successful season Somerset 3 South last season.
