ENTRIES are now being accepted for The Frome Salon of Photography competition sponsored by the Frome Wessex Camera Club.
The salon was first launched in 2012 and has become increasingly popular, attracting over 4,000 image entries last year. The chairman of Frome Wessex Camera Club said, “As well as the normal five classes, this year we have an exciting new ‘mobile phone’ class.
“Up to four images may be entered in each class, entries must be submitted online via the exhibition website. This is the only accepted method of entry. Entries may only be made using digital JPEG image files. Please see the conditions and rules of entry once you’ve registered to enter. Entry classes are; open colour, creative, scapes, nature, monochrome and mobile phone (open).
“Medals (Gold, Silver and Bronze), Individual Selectors’ ribbons (1st and 2nd), and certificates (Highly Commended and Commended) are awarded in each class.
“We are a national salon open only to photographers with addresses in United Kingdom, Channel Islands, Isle of Man and BFPO addresses. We are a member of the British Photographic Exhibition circuit and conduct the salon based upon their rules.”
