While raising funds for cancer charity We Hear You (WHY), Keren and Francis Hayden of Events Horizon are combining culinary and musical talents for Frome Festival.
Frome Sings the Legends takes place on Friday 14th July at Rook Lane Chapel, from 7.30pm until late. Tickets cost £25 and include Events Horizon mezze and dessert, plus live music across three indoor stages, showcasing the talents of Frome’s musician community, giving their take on the great songwriters of the modern age. Acts booked to perform so far include Emma Harris, Pete Gage, Carl Sutterby and the Meltones.
Fundraising officer, Helen White said, “Thanks once again to Keren and the team at Events Horizon for their epic support of WHY. Years of running Nunney Acoustic Cafe and being part of Frome’s community of musicians herself, plus being an absolutely incredible caterer make Keren the perfect person to bring together fantastic music and delicious food in this treat for all your senses!
“We can’t wait to hear covers of the great songs of the age, eat Keren’s famous mezze and dessert and have a dance in the gorgeous setting of Rook Lane. Thanks to Rook Lane for lending us their lovely venue, to Will Angeloro for sorting the sound and to all the musicians already signed up to perform. Join us for £25, knowing that your night out is helping us meet the needs of children, adults and families who are affected or bereaved by cancer and life-threatening conditions.”
