Returning for the third year running, the Frome Steampunk Extravaganza III or FSE3 is set to be the best yet.
On Saturday evening 30th May join Captain Nemo aboard the Nautilus for the Captain’s Ball, featuring the ever energetic Rogora Khart and the exquisite Ghostfire with their mix of folk and rock. Headlining will be the incredible Louis Barabbas and the Bedlam Six with their rousing, breath-taking, foot stomping performance that will have you enthralled.
Be sure to bring your sea legs as the Captain will end the night with a mix of the finest electro-swing available from across the oceans.
Other events during the weekend will include a little soiree on Friday evening at the River House Cafe with three bands, belly dancing mermaids and a disco featuring DJ Perfect; and a Market of Curiosities on Saturday and Sunday from 10am at the Cheese & Grain with a mix of workshops and events throughout.
Steampunk embraces all ages of people, bringing the best of the Steam Age and futuristic design together. The Extravaganza showcases this in an atmosphere of fun and eccentricity, bringing together creative, fun and downright splendid people from around the country and in deed around the world. The weekend is a great chance for everyone to get dressed up and party.
