A brand-new German kitchen showroom has opened in Frome town centre in the former Shoe Zone premises which had been empty for ten years.
Kutchenhaus Frome – a 1,100 sq. ft showroom showcasing the latest in German kitchen innovation and forward-thinking appliances – has been opened by Frome residents Rob Cash and Becky Haynes.
Rob is well-known locally as a volunteer Scout leader, and both he and Becky are actively involved in supporting community life in Frome.
Kutchenhaus Frome will feature four kitchen displays, one bathroom area and two consultation desks. Appliances from NEFF, Bora, AEG, Bosch, Quooker, Blanco and Caple will all be on display.
This will be Rob’s third Kutchenhaus showroom, following the success of Kutchenhaus Bristol (opened 2017) and Kutchenhaus Bath (opened 2020), bringing a fresh and complementary offer to Frome.
Rob said, “It’s special opening a business in this beautiful pocket of Somerset that Becky and I call home. We know the area well and felt it was the right time to expand our showroom portfolio.
“The unit we’ve moved into has sat empty for ten years and was previously a Shoe Zone, so it will be great to breathe new life into it.
“We’ve chosen ranges that complement our Bristol and Bath showrooms, so customers can see a broader variety across all three. With the monthly Frome market on the doorstep, it’s the perfect spot for people to drop in and discover what we do.”
Over recent months, the team has delivered a major refurbishment of the former retail unit, including new electrics, a new ceiling and a new doorway – transforming a tired shell into a contemporary showroom where customers can take their first step towards a new kitchen.
Day-to-day, the showroom will be led by designer Neil Brown and project coordinator Kayleigh Brown, a husband-and-wife team who bring a wealth of experience and a reputation for their warm, customer-first approach.
Neil will focus on design consultations and technical planning, while Kayleigh will oversee project coordination, ensuring every customer journey runs smoothly from order through to installation.
