Frome Symphony Orchestra is set to present a concert of orchestral music on Saturday 8th February at 7.30pm at the historic Holy Trinity Church in Frome.
This intimate performance will showcase a selection of masterpieces by renowned composers Ludwig van Beethoven, Maurice Ravel and Carl Maria von Weber.
The concert will feature a diverse programme, including Beethoven’s Seventh Symphony, Ravel’s Tombeau de Couperin and Weber’s Bassoon Concerto. The concerto soloist is Wells Cathedral School concerto competition winner Elizabeth Massey.
Tracey Edis, one of the concert organisers said, “The audience can look forward to rich orchestral sounds and soaring, tuneful melodies in these three popular classical works.”

Frome Symphony is a charitable organisation founded in 2001 with the aim of making live orchestral music accessible to everyone in the local area. The 50-piece orchestra is made up of talented amateur musicians alongside experienced professionals to give high-quality performances.
