FROME Times deliverer, Chris Hill, completed a 4-mile walk from Ashton Court, Bristol on Sunday 29th September raising £331.50 for Parkinson’s UK.
Chris told Frome Times, “Over 100 people took part in the event of either 1.2 miles or a challenging 4 miles. I chose to walk 4 miles which was tough, especially having Parkinson’s myself.
“It was pouring with rain too, so it made it really slippery underfoot, but I managed to complete the 4 miles in under an hour which is great for it being my first ever fundraising walk.
“Altogether I have managed to raise £331.50 for Parkinson’s UK. I would like to thank everyone for their support and donations.”
