A community band in Frome is inviting residents to their annual Christmas concert, a Wallace and Gromit spectacular.
Frome Town Band will deliver a musical evening for the whole community, accompanying a screening of the classic animated adventure Wallace and Gromit’s Grand Day Out, on Saturday 20th December at 7pm.
A member of the band, June, said, “This special evening promises festive spirit, heartwarming music, and family fun, all in a joyful, family-friendly atmosphere. Enjoy seasonal favourites and a very special twist for all ages.
“Audiences will be treated to an imaginative blend of film and live music, as the band brings the much-loved story to life in real time, guaranteed to delight both children and adults alike.”
This year’s event continues the band’s proud tradition of combining classic Christmas arrangements with innovative performances. Two years ago, the band played a live accompaniment to The Snowman.
