The weather recorded statistics for Frome/Somerset this April 2019 were as follows:
Rain fall for this April 2019 = 57.5 mm, or in the old £ = 2.26 inches. This April’s rain fall statistic was just over the 17 year Frome average of 56.6 mm. The highest being 158 mm recorded in April 2012 and the lowest being 3.5 mm recorded in April 2017!
There were also two days of N.M. rain fall for this April 2019.

All rain fall readings were recorded from a Met/Check Cu Rain Gauge i.a.w. Air Ministry form 1122. Highest D.T.T. = 23 Degrees C , recorded @ 15.00 hrs 19,20.21 /04/19. Lowest D.T.T. = 5.0 Degrees C , recorded @ 15.00 hrs 03/04/19.
Highest N.T.T. = 15 Degrees C, recorded 20,23,/04/19 . Lowest N.T.T. = 3.0 Degrees C , recorded during the night 02/03/04 & 03/04/04 /19.
Lowest temperature @ 0700 hrs = Minus 1.0 degrees C recorded @ 03/04 /19 .Visible white G&A Frost were recorded.
Also for information, this April 2019 did not match the highest D.T.T. for April 2018 of 25 Degrees C. But there were recorded three consecutive D.T.T. for this April 2019 of 23 Degrees C which indicated a higher 2019 Average.
Nothing as yet can match the UK April temperature of 29 Degrees C recorded in 1949!
The Average D.T.T. for this April 2019 recorded @ 15.00hrs = 13 Degrees C. The Average D.T.T. for April 2018 = 10 Degrees C. All Temperatures were recorded within a S.S. from two different thermometers.
Highest Barometric Atmospheric Air Pressure = 1026 mb. recorded 19/20/04/19. Lowest Barometric Atmospheric Air Pressure = 1000 mb. recorded 24/04/19.
Highest Wind Speed = 49 mp.h. Vector Direction W/NW. Recorded during the day of 27/04/19. One of the highest Wind Speeds I have recorded in an April!
