Why does some wine taste so fantastic, and other wine that looks similar … well, not? Come to Frome Wine Club, and find out.
Frome Wine Club is a new series of monthly events sponsored by the Cheese and Grain, each featuring wine of a different type. There will be exciting speciality wines to taste, with expert explanation and personal guidance from local wine merchants, plus top level jazz from pianist Keith Harrison-Broninski and friends.
The launch event is Wines of Burgundy on Thursday 25th Oct, followed by Vegan Wines on Thursday 29th Nov. If the events are a success, next year they will feature Boutique Wines of Spain among others.
Entry is £3 and there will be wines to taste throughout the evening at reasonable prices. Refreshments are also available.
Events run 7.30-10pm at Cheese & Grain Frome, Market Yd, Justice Ln, Frome BA11 1BE.
Events in the first season are:
Thursday 25th October – Frome Wine Club presents Wines of Burgundy, featuring Keith Harrison-Broninski (piano) and Andy Keep (six string bass).
