Frome RFC welcomed Marlborough II to the Lane at the weekend looking to continue their good run of form.
Frome started strongly and after a line out winger Archie Coleman burst through a gap to touch down after two minutes; the conversion being added by full-back, Max Stickley.
Straight from the kick-off, Frome collected the ball and a well-placed kick, and bounce of the ball was collected by Coleman to score his second try.

Frome continued to pin the visitors back with astute kicking from fly-half Simon Westlake and Max Stickley keeping Marlborough pinned in their own half.
Frome then put together a number of phases in the visitors’ half and the ball was released to flanker Dave Martin to score out wide.
With the large crowd in full voice, the home side continued to dominate and crisp passing in midfield released winger Harrie Webster to score in the corner.
Flanker Josh Hills broke through minutes later, charging into the 22, and was tackled on the line whilst scoring with the referee deeming a high tackle, awarding a penalty try and sending the Marlborough player to the sin bin.
Frome took advantage of the man advantage and scored further tries through centre Sam Cassidy and No.8 Alex Mallon.
Frome were able to build field position again and scrum-half Billy James sporting a gap at the edge of a ruck darted over for another try.
Winger Harrie Webster showed some electric pace down the line and completed the first half scoring with his second. Max Stickley converted six of the tries to give Frome a 64-0 lead at half-time.
The second half started more evenly contested as the visitors used their big forwards to attack down field however Frome increased their lead when Sam Cassidy burst through to score.
A further Frome try was scored when Murray White fought off a couple of would-be tackles to score under the posts.
Frome had to defend hard in the latter parts of the half as Marlborough continued to threaten when they had ball in hand. But an interchange of passes out wide between Harrie Webster and James Howard released John Benstead to score out wide.
Frome’s final try came from Harrie Webster who completed his first senior hat-trick.
The final score came when a dropped ball in midfield by Frome allowed the Marlborough full-back to burst through and score a converted try, a credit to the side he didn’t give up.
Player of the Match went to scrum-half, Billy James.
