A Steam Special from Bristol Temple Meads to Penzance travelled through Frome on Saturday 6th May.
Reader John Rees took the photograph of the steam special, with locomotives No 34052 and 46100, as it passed through Clink Road Junction. He explained “The leading locomotive is a 4-6-2 “Braunton” No 34052 and the second locomotive is an ex LMS Royal Scott Class 7 No 46100. Both locomotives can be seen crossing the points at the junction for the run into Frome Station.”
