A FUNDRAISING evening will be held this Saturday, 29th September, in aid of Josh Payne-Gover, a Frome man who was left paralysed after shallow diving on holiday. The money raised will be donated to Josh’s programme of rehabilitation.
An evening of karaoke, raffles and an auction will take place at Chester House Social Club from 7pm to raise money for Josh, who suffered the accident whilst on holiday in the UK in June.
Whilst on a trip to the beach with his friends, Josh, now 25, dived into shallow water. As he landed, the impact crushed his neck and back, severely damaging his C7 vertebrae and spinal cord.
There are may prizes up for grabs during the evening kindly donation by local businesses. Non-members to the social club are welcome to join with all money raised going directly to Josh’s rehabilitation.
If you cannot make the event but want to support Josh, you can visit his Justgiving page on www. justgiving.com/crowd funding/ron-gover?utm_ term=jeN4Yqm Gd.
