Fundraising tickets for Frome Carnival

SUPPORT your local Carnival whilst raising funds for local people in need by purchasing a Frome Carnival 100 Club ticket.
That’s the message from the carnival club. They would like to thank everyone who has already shown their support by purchasing a fundraising ticket, and says that some numbers are still available to buy. The club says, “If you would like to help support our carnival, it’s still not too late. Just send a cheque for £16 payable to Frome Carnival during the next two weeks to Hon., Chairman Mrs JR Barnes, 12 Styles Close, Frome BA11 5JS. “This fundraising event, with your help, will enable us to put on our annual carnival. The profit from this event is used entirely to help Frome people in need. “Every year the registered charity helps many families, individuals and groups with essential requirements. We can only continue to do this if you support us, so please buy a ticket now. “The winners so far are: January draw: 1st prize Mrs J. Walker; 2nd prize Mrs P. Hobbs. February draw: 1st prize Mrs A. Bishop; 2nd prize Mr H. Barnes. March draw: 1st prize Mrs C. Beard; 2nd prize Mr M. Hobbs. April draw: 1st prize Moores; 2nd prize Mr D. Chedgy. “Hope you are all planning your entry for the procession. Entry forms will be available soon. Also coming up soon will be the children’s and adult Queens’ choosing entry forms.”
