Do you have any spare garden spades, forks, rakes, secateurs, trowels, wheelbarrows, gloves, kneeling pads, chairs, or other gardening equipment?
If so, please consider donating them to Frome Field 2 Fork! This will help support wellbeing and educational activities at Whitemill Community Garden, including food growing and practical conservation sessions.
Current activities include the Tuesday morning wellbeing group “Growing Food and Friendships” and the Frome Green Gym, which takes place on Sundays starting 13th June.
These programmes support improved fitness and mental health, promote better social connections, and will benefit anyone who wants to grow food but lacks the time, knowledge or physical ability.
Frome Field 2 Fork believes that people of all abilities and ages should be able to grow, buy and eat local, healthy food, produced in ways that support our environment and our communities.
Donations of garden tools and equipment can be dropped off at Edventure, The Welsh Mill, Park Hill Dr, Frome BA11 2LE between 9:30-11:30 on Wednesday mornings and 11-12 on Thursday mornings. All contributions are appreciated!
