The Vine Tree pub in Frome has been applauded for its colourful flowers and tidy leafage in two local competitions.
As well as coming first in the ‘pubs and clubs’ category of this year’s Frome in Bloom competition, the pub also took second place in the same category of the Mendip in Bloom competition.
Judges were impressed by the colourful floral displays and well kept vines adorning the pub, which is run by Cath Breakwell\ and Andy White.
Cath told the Frome Times, “We were really pleased to be picked out by the judges of both competitions. We do make an effort with the flowers so its nice that the work has been recognised.”
