A SECOND-HAND book sale, containing several hundred items, is due to take place later this month.
The sale has come about through a single donation and will raise funds for the Frome Museum.
It is due to take place at the Cheese & Grain’s Collectors and Flea Market on Wednesday 23rd February, between 9am and 2pm. Admission is free.
Jennie O’Kane, museum volunteer and Mick Davis, local author and Frome Times columnist, who are organising the sale, said, “Thanks to the generosity of a Frome resident, the museum stands to benefit by several hundred pounds if all the books are sold and given their ‘as new’ condition and the subject areas they cover, there is no reason why everything won’t be bought.’
The Frome Museum, located on North Parade, is currently closed to visitors for the winter but reopens on Tuesday 8th March with an exciting new exhibition to be announced shortly.
