Winstone’s Hunting Raven Books would like to invite you to the online launch of Where the Wild Things Grow – the new book from Frome forager and author David Hamilton.
Hunting Raven say, “To celebrate the launch, David will take you on a virtual foraging trip from Frome to Lyme Regis. It is September in this hypothetical adventure, late summer mushrooms are up in the fields and woodlands, the last of the summer fruit is bursting from the hedgerows, and down by the sea coastal greens and seaweeds are awaiting the oncoming autumn.
“David will talk you through many of the plants, seaweeds and mushrooms he expects to find on the way and there will be a chance to ask your burning foraging questions at the end.
“The event is free and will take place Wednesday 5th May at 7.30pm on Zoom. Places must be booked. You can book online at www.bit.ly/davewildish. Pre-order your copy of the book when you sign up and we will arrange for David to personally inscribe it for you to pick up from the shop.
