LOCAL woman, Shane Ibbitson, will lose her locks for charity next week.
As well as raising money for the Bath Royal United Hospital charity, the Forever Friends Appeal, Shane will be donating her hair to the Little Princess Trust, a charity that provides real hair wigs to children that have lost their own hair due to cancer treatment or other illnesses.
Shane will be having her hair cut at Uptown Hairdressers, Selwood Road, on Tuesday 30th May at 10.30am, and she is inviting the community to come along and support her.
This is not the first time Shane has raised money for the Forever Friends Appeal. “I’ve raised almost £1,800 – that’s taken about six years,” said Shane.
Donations can be made in person to Shane on the day of the event.
