Family, friends and the residents of Hanover Gardens recently held a summer get-together in their grounds.
Hanover Gardens is a retirement living complex on Critchill Road, known for its extensive and well-cared for gardens run by Hanover Housing Association. A collection for charity was held and £125 was raised and given to Macmillan nurses.
Lorna Carr and Pat Wadsworth, residents who helped organise the event said, “Cancer affects so many people and we are always pleased to support the wonderful work the Macmillan nurses do, both locally and nationally.”
