FROME Selwood Bowling Club is holding two open days to give the people of Frome the opportunity to try their hand at playing bowls.
Frome Selwood Bowling Club invite you to two open days on Monday 14th May and Monday 21st May from 3pm onwards, at their green in Butts Hill to experience the game of bowls in a friendly social environment.
The open days are open to both men and women of all ages and ability. All you need to bring along is a pair of flat soled shows. There will also be tea and coffee available.
Mike Geake, president of Frome Selwood Bowling Club said, “The benefits of bowls are good company, competitive or social activity, suitable for all age groups and a way of forging new friendships. Come and find out if the game is for you, with helpful advice on hand.”

On-street parking can be found in Park Road (BA11 1EU). After parking, visitors should walk to the top of the road where you will find a footpath to your left adjacent to the Mary Bailey playing field; the club is situated some 150 yards along this path on the right hand side.
Pedestrian access can be gained from Butts Hill on the B3090 (BA11 1HS). On alighting make your way up the footpath directly opposite Highpoint Court and the club entrance lies some 50 yards up the path on your left.
