Residents are being asked to share their views about Frome Town Council’s communication methods in a new survey, which aims to explore new ways in which the council shares information.
Frome’s survey is a shortened version of a nationwide survey entitled ‘Who Reads What’ and will inform the council’s communications strategy to ensure that all residents can access information easily and in a format that suits their needs.
It should take around five minutes to complete and can be completed online, via a paper copy or directly to staff at forthcoming ‘pop-up’ events.
Leader of Frome Town Council, Cllr Fiona Barrows said, “Where do you find out the things you need to know about your town council? Do you head to the website, follow us on social media, or do you tend to use ‘offline’ methods such as posters or the Frome Times?
“We want to hear from you about the things that are working well and also get your suggestions about how our communication could be even better. Your insights are incredibly valuable for councillors when we’re making decisions and planning, so please take the time to share your thoughts.”
