FROME Medical Practice has confirmed that their volunteer-run hearing aid repair clinic has returned to their outpatients department following three years of absence due to Covid restrictions.
The free clinic is for all users of RUH’s audiology services and can help with replacement tubing, cleaning as well as advice on how best to look after your aids.
“I’m delighted that the service is running again,” says Nigel Clarke, one of the service’s volunteers. “The first two clinics brought smiles to people’s faces for sure, particularly those who thought their aids had stopped working.”
The clinic is no longer a drop-in service. To pre book an appointment call 01373 468378 on Monday afternoons. Bookings are now being taken for March.
If you need to cancel an appointment, please call the number above so that your place can be given to someone else in the queue.
