LOCAL BBC celebrity, Sarah-Jane Bungay will be presenting prizes at the Frome Selwood Horticulture Society’s annual show.
The 49th annual show will be held at Selwood Academy on Berkley Road on Saturday 26th August from 1pm until 4.30pm.
FSHS Press Officer Jane Norris said, “Added this year to the usual classes for home grown flowers, vegetables, fruits and plants, is the new water colour painting class.
“So with the photography gaining more prominence along with the homecraft baking, there will sure to be something to wetten all the senses.
“The society has been running since 1966, and having celebrated its golden 50th year, it continues to bring company to gardeners of all ability, or none, at its monthly meetings where expert speakers share topics, tips and tea.
“Come along and be part of this sensual display.”
“Doors open to the public at 1pm, and Sarah-Jane Bungay will be presenting prizes at 4.00pm.
“There is ample parking and teas will be served all afternoon.”
