Frome Community Hospital celebrated International Nurses Day this month with treats and a raffle for its nurses and staff.
Administrator for Frome Community Hospital, Melissa Book, reports, “Wednesday 12th May marks International Nurses Day and at Frome Hospital we decided to go that little bit further for all our ward staff who have worked so hard over the past difficult year.
“Everyone was given a goodie bag which contained a pottery heart from Pippa’s Pottery, treats from Asda and some pampering items from Acheson & Acheson. Breakfast, afternoon tea and supper were provided by the lovely Kerens Comfort Kitchen care of The Friends of Frome Hospital and then we had a raffle.
“Local businesses were extremely generous given the year they have had so we would like to thank the aforementioned businesses as well as Figgins, Sonya Bennett, Hanmade, Burrito Boi, Bistro Lotte, Judes of Frome, Rock and Wild Flowers and The Little Flower co – they really helped make it a lovely day for everyone.”
