Why did you choose Frome?
Frome chose us! It’s where our spaceships landed. Us girls always wanted to be in a band but no one wanted us, so we created Back of the Bus two years ago. We couldn’t really play our instruments that well so we invited some cool musicians to play with us!
Favourite thing about Frome:
We love the people and anti-establishment vibe, the Iffys, the Riverhouse, dogs, Cley Hill and great local pubs and music scene.
Little known fact about you, your band or Frome:
We are a strange bunch from a variety of backgrounds…..one of us was bought up in a fort on an island off South Wales, another was delivered by nuns at the mouth of the Amazon River in Brazil. We have an Iffy, Fireman, Harlot, Rageddy Man and Barista.. but funnily enough we all love the same music. Mainly 80s post punk pop, with some other gems thrown in.
