FROME Inner Wheel recently donated £500 to local charities as president Yvonne Covill’s year as president comes to an end.
Club member Gill Barnes reports, “At the Inner Wheel’s monthly meeting President Yvonne Covill presented two cheques to local charities; Dorothy House and Blue House.
“Steph Cox of Dorothy House said she was delighted with the £400 that the club had raised during the year.
“Alison Hillis, who was representing the Blue House, was very pleased to accept a cheque for £100. The presentations were Yvonne’s last official duty as she hands over the office of president to Pam Brewster in July.”
