Frome Police Community Support Officers (PCSOs) and the Mayor of Frome, cllr Helen Sprawson-White, are delighted to announce the re-launch of the monthly surgeries, now to be held jointly at the Police Post in the Market Yard car park.
The surgeries held on the first Saturday of every month will have one of the town’s PCSOs on duty to address better the concerns of local residents. The next surgery will be on Saturday 7th August between 10.00am and noon.
PC Clark the town centre beat manager said, “Beat surgeries are a great tool in working with the community. The best way for us to identify local needs is to speak to people face to face, and so I would encourage people to attend these surgeries as they are an ideal way to achieve this, and then we can ensure our work is targeted to those needs, and we can help create a better community for everyone.”
Cllr Helen Sprawson-White, Mayor of Frome said, “My year as mayor will have a community focus and I want to find ways of the town council engaging better with all parts of the community and I am really looking forward to meeting anyone and everyone face to face.”
