The Mayor of Frome, cllr Helen Sprawson-White, is calling all children under the age of 9 who live in Frome or go to school in Frome, to enter a competition to design her Christmas card.
The winning entry will be the official Frome Town Council Christmas card which the mayor will send to over 250 local organisations and people.
Cllr Sprawson-White said, “I want to encourage as many children as possible to enter, let’s try and make it a record-breaking number of entries this year. Don’t forget there are prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd and the winner gets to assist me with switching on the Christmas lights at the Christmas Spectacular on 28th November. All entries will also be displayed at the Frome Town Council office in Palmer Street, so you will be able to check out all the designs in the window display.”
The follow criteria should be followed:
1. It should be A5 in size
2. It must be your own original image
3. Please use colours
4. It must be a flat image
Closing date for entries is 5.00pm on Friday 12th November and please remember to write your name, age and address or school on the back of the entry. Please send entries to: Mayor’s Christmas Card Competition, Frome Town Council, 5 Palmer Street, Frome, BA11 1DS.
