LESMON Travel’s 2024 brochure is out and they are pleased to announce a new collaboration with AL Executive, whose coach proudly bears the Lesmon name and new logo.
The business has undergone a lot of changes this year, including relocating from Weymouth Road to 1 Marston Lane, its original home, where it was set up by Les and Mon Price 40 years ago.
The business is now being run by Brigitte, one of their daughters, who is also the courier on all the tours.
“I make sure that the passengers are all well looked after en route and ensure that everything runs smoothly during the tour,” says Brigitte. “All of next year’s tours will be on AL Executive’s luxury air-conditioned coach, with drinks machine and toilet on board. Being a local company, the drivers know their way around Frome, and a lot of the current passengers have already travelled with them and found them to be very friendly and helpful.
“Lesmon Travel offers a personal door-to-door service for everyone in their catchment area of Frome, Westbury, Warminster and Midsomer Norton. The pickups are either by minibus or directly onto the coach, whichever is most suitable. Anyone out of the catchment area is welcome to park at our base in Marston Lane, space permitting.
“This year the tours are all UK based, with as little travel time as necessary from the hotel, so passengers will have more time to relax on their holiday. There is something available throughout the year – from a weekend in January or a New Year’s party.
“We have also booked a 4* hotel on Bournemouth sea front for our first Twixmas tour, for those customers who want to get away over the festive season, but like to be at home on Christmas Day itself. Take a look at our Facebook page where the comments speak for themselves.”
