Frome Bridge Club has been offering bridge lessons in the autumn for the last six years.
“Most people who have come along have found the lessons (and of course playing bridge) great fun,” says the club. “We’ve had our summer break from lessons and now we’re ready to start again. This year, we are offering three different kinds of lessons – Beginners, Improvers, and lessons for those people who feel they play fairly well but would like to get even better.
“We’re lucky enough to have three separate rooms in our premises at Wesley Church, Frome, and enough people willing and able to teach. Lessons start on Thursday October 3rd at 9:15. There’ll be plenty of time to play bridge afterwards, and the sessions will finish about 12 noon. The cost is reasonable (£3), the rooms are comfortable, the people are friendly – and there’s a never-ending supply of tea, coffee and biscuits.
