Together with a number of their fellow pupils and staff, Oakfield Academy pupils Lily Angell and Gabriella Brown raised money for the refurbishment of the school’s main toilet blocks.
The school council requested that they be re-decorated, and the pupils were set the challenge to raise funds for new mirrors and fittings etc. Homebase kindly allowed the children to do a bag-pack and carry-out service earlier this month and the pupils raised £416. They will be at the store again on Saturday 18th March.
