Thank you for coverage of 100 years of the Memorial Theatre

Thank you for the coverage on the anniversary of 100 years of the Memorial Theatre, also known as The Memorial Hall to us locals.
The older members of the town think of it as a tribute to the fallen service men and women, with a service held outside the theatre on Remembrance Sunday each year.
The volunteers and helpers devote time to care for the area outside and inside of the theatre for which I thank them.
The further coverage with photos of events and past usage of the building brought back many fond memories. Well done to your team of reporters.

Too impatient waiting for MP’s response.
Dear Editor
I am writing to completely contradict my letter in your edition dated 10th October (issue668), complaining about the difficulty of contacting our new MP Anna Sabine.
In fact, not only did I eventually receive a reply to the email I had sent her, but several people have assured me that they have had replies to two or three messages. So I obviously wrote far too impatiently and I have to unreservedly apologise to Ms Sabine and assure her of my future support.
