THE Lions Club of Frome is holding its annual summer fete on Saturday 15th June from 12.30pm to 4pm at Victoria Park, Frome.
The fete is a well-established Frome event and offers charities, local organisations, and craft vendors the chance to promote their causes and wares and is an excellent vehicle for raising much-needed funds.
“As well as fundraising the fete offers the people of Frome an afternoon of fun and entertainment in a pleasant and convivial environment,” said Lion Mike Geake. “We have several ring events planned along with the old favourites such as coconut shy, bouncy castle and a hot dog stall.
“Organisations or individuals are invited to book a pitch for this year’s event. The fees for pitches, which are three meters wide, are £15 for one and £22.50 for two. Charges for pitches will be waived for registered charities.
Pitch space is limited and will be allocated on a strictly first come basis so you are advised to book as soon as possible but no later than Friday 31st May.”
