The Lions are pleased to report that the sum of £301.50 was raised at the recent quiz night held at the Frome Rugby Club.
The winning team with an impressive 97 points was comprised of Philip Ashworth, Bob Ashworth, June Ashworth and Jeremy Clatworthy.
Runners up with 90 points were Mark Symes, Dave Whitehead, Neil Crawford and Darren Golay. The picture round was won by Kevin Withors, Matt Lloyd, Rupert Tolson and Andy Magee, identifying 24 out of 30 pictures.
Both winning teams kindly donated their winnings back to the Lions, making a very valuable contribution to the funds raised. All funds raised go towards the numerous local good causes that the Lions support.
