The Lions are pleased to report that the sum of £293.50 was raised at the recent quiz night held at the Frome Rugby Club.
This was the last quiz for this year, bringing the total raised since October to £1,552.
The winning team (The Innox Hillbillies) comprised, Bob Ashworth, Phil Ashworth, June Ashworth, & Jed Clatworthy with an impressive 95 points.
Runners up comprised, Bob Monger, Claire Tanner, Johnathan Tanner, & Bob Maynard with 89 points.
The picture quiz was won by Steve Fry, Steve Hill, Bill Savage, & Paul Ruddick, who managed to identify 22 out of 30 faces.
All funds raised go towards the numerous local good causes that the Lions support, and the funds were boosted this time following the generosity of the winners and runners up donating their winnings.
The Lions would like to thank all those who have taken part, with particular thanks to Frome Rugby Club for the use of the venue.
