FROME Lions Club will again be erecting a tree of Remembrance in front of Rook Lane Chapel over the Christmas festive period.
Residents of Frome and surrounding villages are invited to make a donation to the Lions charity fund in memory of their loved ones or cause.
The lights on the tree will remember each individual or cause and each donor will receive a personal acknowledgement and the names and causes will also be displayed on a dedication board at Rook Lane until early January.
All donations received will be used by the Lions in its local charitable work.
The tree will be dedicated during a short carol service to which all are cordially invited on Tuesday 30th November at 7pm. Music will be supplied by Frome Town Band.
Following the blessing, the Lions invite you to join them in a social gathering and partake in some light refreshments and mulled wine in front of the tree, which will give you a chance to meet with friends and talk to the Lions about their activities and charitable work.
Further information and donation forms can be obtained from the Frome Lions website at www.fromelions.org.uk or email KeithMcLeod@fromelions.org.uk or clive.smith@fromelions.org.uk.
